Location
With or without GPS, it is easy to find the cottage. The place is at the end of the village, after the last houses. The chalet is not at altitude as one might think, but at the same level as that of the village of Stosswihr (450m above sea level).
My car can go up to the cottage?
Conventional vehicles can go up to the cottage if the ground of the land is dry. If it is wet, vehicles must be parked at the bottom of the plot, 15m from the cottage. Sports cars or belittled cars are at risk of damage. In this case, it is possible to park in a concrete car park at the beginning of the path, 200m away.
And in winter?
To circulate in the valley in winter, snow tires or appropriate equipment (chains, socks) are mandatory. In case of heavy snowfall, without equipment you will not leave the cottage!
